I was thinking I never remember Dino ever personally accepting responsibility for the losses or the way the team plays. Specifically stating it starts with him and it’s his fault that the team was not ready to play. Has there been a time this has happened in eight years?

No, it’s part of the problem, if you can’t look within and know when you -up and take responsibility for it, you aren’t growing.

We obviously pay way more attention to SU coaches but I would guess this isn’t uncommon across the board.

I try not to be an "I told u so" fan, I take no joy in being proven right. But nothing is more annoying than reading someone's W-L predictions, based on how much other teams are "garbage, awful, they suck", when we've shown little to no capability of being competitive in this conference.

A lot of that was hinging on Isaiah Jones. Which I’ve never really understood.

He’s done nothing but get injured repeatedly. Doesn’t have the body for the wear and tear at this level. Probably why we recruited him out of JUCO and no one else did.

In all seriousness, I don’t blame people for getting excited. That’s what fans do. It’s just that this place has dramatically overrated our talent for 20+ years now.

I’ll never forget how people thought we were bigger, faster and stronger then ever in the summer of 2002. We’d be better even without Freeney and Harris! That’s literally when I stopped paying any attention to pre-season talent scouting here. We’re just too biased and optimistic.
