On the list of things that I'm concerned won't impress recruits, anything associated with Newhouse is miles from making that list.

when kids are on their visits, they all go through the acc studios at Newhouse. It gives the university a chance to show these student athletes that if they’re interested in going into “calling” games after they’re done playing that this is the school for them.

You do realize don’t you, what university message board that you are on? There are other message boards that won’t know any better and will be more than willing to give you the type of attention and affirmation you are looking for.

The BiG, Pac 12, & SEC (combined 38 schools) all have a 5+ year head start on their network. Is the ACC doing something different technologically, or are those schools using inferior equipment, not following best practices, etc...? I guess I don’t see how this is a competitive “moat” scenario. Does Syracuse own any patents or IP associated with broadcast infrastructure that separates it from the masses?
