Over a long time period, Izzo is the best, but if you look at the ratio of wins to expected wins, Stevens and Massimino look to be the best. They outperform their expectations by a factor of 3, whereas Izzo outperforms his by a factor of 1.5. Now, Izzo sample size is far, far larger, and thus arguably more impressive. Still, I'd not want to be against Izzo or Stevens in the tourney.

Izzo does something else that helps him in March. He goes to his bench liberally all season long and then uses his bench effectively in the postseason.
