I thought he did well to point out - maybe not in these words exactly- that the old way is not going to work. I think he made clear that he knows what the assignment is and will attack the job.

The only thing that gives me excitement is that with the new chancellor in place he could decide to use some of the endowment, change admission costs to bring more funds to the athletic department because in his first statement was understanding that 80% (could be wrong on %) was at Syracuse because of the high level of athletics.

Indiana is now learning how important high level athletics is…they have more donors than ever before and receiving mind numbing more in NIL and have now more applicants and can raise the profile of the university thru that.

Having big time athletics pays off in the long run. This administration needs to think BIG
