After the CFB show Dino should get credit for not canceling any games this year

Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit just said teams are canceling games not because of Covid positives results but because coaches don’t want to play games they could be humiliated in and are opting out for reasons to avoid losing.

Dino and our team have done the honorable thing. It sucks to lose some of these games but we haven’t used Covid to cancel games just to prevent losses.

So the team I think Herbstreit is calling out is Florida State.
His sons play for Clemson. I think he was repeating what Dabo was saying about Florida State. Virginia isn’t happy with FSU either.

I didn’t know they did it two weeks in a row. The way the state of FL is generally lax about covid I guess it does seem suspect

yup same exact scenario.

Virginia showed up to play and all set and about 2 hours before the game FSU called off the game because of coronavirus concerns.

Virginia is seeking ramifications for it and doesn’t want the game rescheduled. Said it’s not fair for them to travel back to Florida state for them to cancel the game.

pretty wild really.

I also had thought Clemson was suspect about the guy with corona. But from what I am hearing is he had symptoms of COVID but tested negative three times that week. But FSU didn’t believe Clemson so called the game off

I guess it’s kind of like a defender having a cramp against uptempo offense.

The players health and safety is the most important thing and people(coaches, announcers) don’t usually call that out in case they’re hurt and not faking. One player sure but if it happens after every play we the fans call bs lol.
