I have to just say holy crap on a cracker! I mean if that what we have to look forward to I'm 100 percent all in. Baylor runs for over 600 yards, Tulsa how's up 52 on Vatech and even if thing didn't go well for BG damn I'm almost giddy.
After watching these games I think its apparent why we seem to get looking at these long leaner lineman and Db,s and such. They are going to have to be ready to run all over the field for the full 60 minutes.

Has spring practice started yet? I'm totally psyched as I have not been in years. The brand of football played by Briles and is coaching tree is very exciting to say the least. I dot know how it translates to win loss records initially but I know it's something I can look forward to watch and see develops

What a mood changer this hire is and this brand of football can be.

I'm with you. I love this no huddle attack with power running and throwing it all over the place. Take away the run and you pass, take away the pass and you run. Then run the quarterback a few times and you can see why this drives the defensive coordinators nuts. Our defense will practice against this offense, which will be huge help if they face a no huddle team. Our defense will love playing teams that huddle and take a lot of time to get plays off.

My opinion is that the 25K of us that always showed up at the Dome are more excited than a sailor on leave. I'm not sure the other 25K realize what SU really has yet. The numbers will grow and it'll be fun watching going to the Dome on Saturday when it will be thee thing to do in Syracuse.

the biggest question is can Coach Babers recruit better kids for SU than he got a BG. he was pretty competitive at BG vs P5 there in a limited number of chances, but if he can players just a bit better in his system who knows what we can do here.

You would hope he can recruit better kids, with more to sell here.

But as an aside, there are a couple of other things at play. I would assume he's good at finding the types of players he needs (which makes "better" a relative term), and that he's also better at developing the kids he signs within the framework of his offense.

It's a safe bet that things are going to get a lot better on offense. As we're seeing in the bowl games, ACC defenses aren't SEC defenses.

It's a safe bet that things aren't going to look so great on defense. Teams will have to keep up, and will gameplan accordingly.

I wonder if beer sales will go down in the Dome? I'm not sure I would want to take the chance of having to pee and miss any TDs

Don't forget those of us who cannot make it to the Dome regularly because we lie too far away but still love the Orange...we realize what we got and we are excited, too!

Not to worry, they will add move vendors to walk around with concessions. The real issue will be how many people can hit the loo immediately following the games.

Don't worry, you will see the next touchdown as there will be plenty to go around.
