The Dude says yesWill Holgerson get fired? His seat has to be warm right??
Another in a long line pf coaching failures that some board posters wanted at Syracuse (recently-fired George O'Leary was another.).
When will fans learn that not all coaching gigs require the same attributes? Success at one program does not guarantee success at another.
we would build a statue of that failure. One with stubby t rex armsIthacaBarrel said:I would hardly Call oleary a coaching failure, time for him to move on and retire? Sure but guy has won a lot of football games and beat Baylor in the fiesta bowl a couple years ago. He's had a pretty solid career.
that didn't take longAnd they've already got their first decommit:
Gave you a like for calling it "The Twitter."
Yeah, Adelson tweeted not too long ago she's hearing Cristobal might be the frontrunner.Mario Cristobal, Schiano, people want butch but it's hard to see.
If you ask me, this may be the best job in america. Their is not another place that has the number of athletes or D1 football players within an hour drive of their campus then Miami. The school doesn't have the money like the big universities but I would put the local athletes up against any around the country. Obviously some areas like cali or texas would come close but Miami has the number 1 recruiting radius if you ask me. I think a perfect hire their would be charlie strong. He doesn't seem to fit at Texas and was a florida guy previously.
Not even close to the best job in America. The local kids don't necessarily want to play for The U anymore. All of these other big schools can come down and pick some of the best talent.
Just to name a few of WAY better jobs than Miami:
Alabama
Georgia
Ohio State
Michigan
USC
Texas
Florida
Florida State
