Just curious if anyone will be out at a local sports bar on Saturday afternoon to watch the game. Planning on meeting my sister out somewhere down that way.

I loved Graney's when I lived in Albany - ridiculously hot bartenders. Place was a hidden treasure, had my 30th birthday party there. If I was ever running for office and someone told me they had video of that night, I'd drop out of the campaign immediately.

Damn I miss that place...

I know one of the bartenders there. Pretty good place. But i like to watch games at home without distractions. Dont need some random punks saying SU sucks when they dont even like sports in general.

Agree usually, I have a 60" and don't like distractions either - in this case my mother-in-law will be visiting so I'll be "busy" early and often this weekend. Maybe even "working"

If it was up to me at the Dome there would be only the coaches, players, 2 teams and me in the stands watching the games.

I'm about 75% certain he did Irish Car Bombs with me on my birthday. It was either him or an old pudgy white haired dude I confused for him since he was there all the freakin' time.

I'm feeling pretty confident VT fan has crossed Graneys off his list of places to watch the game Saturday based on how this thread has developed.

I tried getting Jennings to do some shots with me one St Paddy's day at McGeary's. When he refused I started calling him a p*ssy. Hard to believe I didn't end up in jail that night.

Not at all. My 10-year old LOVES ICBs. And hot bartenders. I'll look into it and see what my sister says.

Website says there are two Graney's. Which one were you thinking?

If I go it will be to Graney's Bar and Grill on New Scotland Ave. Graney's Stout is newer and nicer but the bartenders are not as attractive.

most likely because he had likely already done a few with me at Martels and then again at McGeary's.

when i lived in Albany, me and Jerry always seemed to be on the same social calendar.

i havnt done a St Paddys day in Albany since probably 98.

95 was great, 2 St Patricks Days.

we did the parade the previous saturday and then the tourney was in town on the 17th. drank in the AM, went to the early session, went out drinking and sold the night session to pay for more drinking.

good times.

that's the one closest to my sister's place as well. excellent.

Hahaha, small world or what, I live a block from Graney's on the corner of Woodlawn and Quall. I live in that big yellow Victorian house's 3rd floor apt... I know you know the one I'm talking about! It's that one that has a squirrel orgy in the ceiling every morning around 6. Yeah...it's great.

We are neighbors, also have a squirrel problem.
