Like 2 actors going for the same part. I couldn't care if they were playing Cumberland- this is the week. Whoever auditions better Saturday should, and probably will, be the starter going forward into the rest of the season. That in itself makes this game interesting.

If we score 40+ we may see both play well enough.. if we struggle then both play poorly.

I am not sure what they really want to do with both. The QBs run different styles. Do we want to be an RPO team or a Play action running team.

If this team is any good the only way we really learn much is if one plays really poorly and who wants that.

I dont think QB play is the issue most of the time. Its oline play at key moments and play calling is a bit disjointed and then when we have a good mix we get a penalty or a poorly blocked play and start chasing again.

The long the split QB thing goes on without 1) either a single QB1 choice made or 2) a clear and articulated two-QB system, the worse it is for TD and GS.

The same questions will keep getting shifted to those two guys + the rest of the team until Dino makes a clear decision.

Otherwise, it's shifting a lot of media pressure to these two guys and the other players, which isn't fair.

Can't make a decision in the pre-season? OK, I get it, you need to see live action. Can't make a clear decision after game 3 after your sixth year at a school? Well, that's bad coaching at that point.

yet this same thing is happening all over.. top 20 ISU in the same boat. Florida in the same boat. FSU doesnt know what to do.

I am hoping both play well, gain some confidence and rhythm, and provide the coaches with enough confidence going forward. But I agree with those who suggest that following this week you have to have msde it clear who your #1 is.

I assume we're primarily going to run the ball this weekend.

But one thing I would like to see is a couple of deep passes to Jackson, get him some confidence catching them. He clearly has the speed.

who ever is the QB, starts vs Liberty and you run with it for the first half.. If the game is close because both teams are scoring then fine stay the course.. if we fall behind 2-3 scores then make the switch and move on.

but really figure out what you want to do on offense.

I dont want to see alternating vs Albany, but starting one and if we play well going up 21-0 the other isnt getting the same vibe of the game to show anything so maybe you need to.

really just beat Albany by something that the game is not in doubt in the 3rd who ever is the QB

Tucker will probably get 25 carries and run for 250 yards, the other backs will get another 20 carries, the QBs will run 7/8 times themselves, we'll pile up 400 yards on the ground and then we'll still know nothing.

if we run for 400 then we do know something.. We can establish the run.

Albany play N. Dak st the 5th best team in the FCS and lost 28-6. They didnt gain 400 yds on them total.

I want to see a better tempo, run 80+ plays run for 300 and do something solid in the Air.. I dont want to see a grinding 30-3 win with 50 plays like Ohio..

N Dak 387yds while Albany 205, Only 22 yards rushing. Albany D is tougher than Ohio's, and Albany O sputters...

My hope is TD sputters again, GS comes in 2nd qtr and gets this moving well enough to start the 2nd half and never looks back. Nothing against Tommy, we just need higher risk-higher reward at this point.

Pipe dream.

My hope is for a revamped offense, that has taken 6 years to learn (and still learn) and take the guessing game out of it. Simplify it. Put the ball into your playmakers hands. Figure some crap out. Is that too much?

Tough spot to be in. Whoever performs best will probably be appointed the starter. The other will probably leave the program immediately.

just not against teams like Rutgers and likely not the rest of our schedule.

DB clearly made his choice before the season started. This I am going to play 2 qbs is disingenuous. When one gets 95 percent of the snaps and the other 5 percent that is not playing 2 qbs. DB quit the bs and just say it’s always been TD.
