A win today hinges upon Rhoa’s availability. He and English are the only true midfielders out there. Leo and Deere need to step up. I’m interested to see if Anderson touches the field today. If not I’ll assume he’s not good enough, with all the opportunity in the world to get on the field, especially with Birtwistle out for the year, I’d be comfortable calling Anderson (and Gait’s recruiting) a bust.

Anderson is a freshman. Deere barely saw the field last year. Did you think he was a bust? Calling him a bust is ridiculous.

Somewhat. I was disappointed that Deere didn’t lock down the 3rd attack spot. Instead he’s a 2nd line midfielder with 5 goals in 5 games. Excuse me if my expectations are higher for 5-star recruits. Let’s be clear I didn’t call Anderson a bust…yet. If he gets consistent run today I’ll
be optimistic.
