To be expected, and don't blame the NCAA. If there's a cover up at all then there's a lack of institutional control.

there is nothing for them to be involved with yet ... yet

exactly. with what we have seen so far, we have done the right thing.

Of course they have to come out publicly and state they're looking at SU, especially after they were so quick to be on top of PSU.

That was more "noise" as opposed to a "hit".

I'll classify the NCAA with the other loonies in the "Fire JB because Bernie did something bad crowd".

They tell Cantor they're "deeply saddened" after Cantor has already issued a statement regarding her regrets.

Some people just need to make their mark.

sounds right

i thought espn sat on the tape... not the Cuse... maybe they should redirect their attention

What is Cantor supposed to do have cameras installed in all coaches basements just in case their molesting children.

We're all deeply troubled by the allegations, don't think he needed to call Nancy to tell her that.

I think the ball boy (Davis) allegedly traveling with the team would be one area the NCAA could hit SU.

You have the FEDS investigating a coach and maybe coaches in college sports program, I would hope the NCAA is looking into things.

Everyone is covering their own asses now.
The NCAA is covering its ass.
Cantor is covering her ass.
Boeheim (maybe too late) is covering his.
Fine is covering someone's...not his wife's I imagine.

Point being, all of this is expected at this point.

Why not!! Everybody else seems to be investigating! The NCAA does have a responsibility to assure that the program and the University is not complicit in a cover-up... that they investigated the initial accusation with due diligence. They are also "investigating" PSU who, I assume, would be in a bigger pot of s*** b/c the University did engage in a cover-up; the program (coaches) was culpable of not pursuing or reporting the allegations. SU < PSU

25 years later?

On second thought after reading what CTO wrote...it was the mainstream media once again talking out their arse.

On CNN they made it seem like SU had Ball Boys regularly traveling with the team. What is was Fine had Davis travel as his kids babysitter...a huge difference. I retract my statement above. I just wish they would report the facts and not speculate.
