Coach knows what he's doing. Calling Allan Griffin out HARD last press conference for his effort, and some people criticized him for doing so.

And look at the response? His hustle plays won the game. The block, numerous hustle tipins, key rebounds, and that dive for a loose ball on the near half court violation looked like willy mays hays starting into his slide after a steal from a mile away.

That was what you call a response to a stimulus. And Coach is no dummy.

And this board is full of HOF coaches for calling for Kadary over JG3 3 games ago
You haven't seen the last of Girard. The players that play will be the guys making plays. End of story. Some nights it might be Kadary and Joe. Some nights Joe and Buddy will see more time together. The fact is, were versatile and will play the hot hand now that JB is confident in Kadary getting his sea legs.

That's all we can hope for! I'm not too caught up in the whole "starter" issue between KR and JG3. I'd just like to see some flexibility when one of them is NOT performing well, so you mix things up a little.
Kadary Richmond is simply too good not to play regular minutes, but if "Good JG3" shows up, you gotta play him too. Options...its all about options!

Ok, but - it’s not just Kadary vs Joe GirLARD for minutes. It’s Buddy too.

And in what universe is it OK for Buddy to hoist up 24 shot attempts??

Or was that creating offense with all of the misses?

I don’t mind the call out at all especially with Griffin who seems to have a great relationship with Boeheim and didn’t just get offended by the statement but instead had a fire lit under him. Kudos to him and Boeheim on this.

10000%

We only hit our ceiling with Kadary and Joe playing considerable minutes. They have different skill sets and each will have their nights where they can’t be taken off the floor.

If those two and Buddy can all start to click on the same night that’s a scary backcourt for 40 minutes

Yeah, to me, it's pretty clear (and had been clear) Kadary should start...

If I'm JGIII, my complaint tonight is with Buddy playing so much and going 8-24 and 0-5 from three. It's not Kadary JGIII should be subbing for, it's Buddy.

bubby was baaaad. tonight again...that's my new nickname for him

I wonder if anyone thought that might be the case when it happened. Mmm.

His presser after last game worked so well it empowered Buddy to go 8-24 from the field, including 0-5 from three. Genius.

true but Buddy was continually in the lane which was really helpful. He’s really improved there. Joe can’t do that as well.

Kadary is easily our best overall guard. Biggest edge is on defense obviously...but he can do more on the offensive end too. Not really an outside shooter yet...but he’s better at his weakness than the other two will ever be at their weaknesses.

If any guard should get 35 mpg, it’s him.
