Sorry if this was already posted, but NPR had an interesting story yesterday regarding Kentucky's locker room. Apply this across the board to the facilities that they have in Lexington and you can see a huge advantage to Kentucky in luring young players even before the direct cash payments start flowing from WWW and Pay Pal Cal. I guess my point is I don't know whether there truly is cash flowing directly to recruits but when one school has the cash available to finance facilities that are nicer than NBA facilities and 1000x better than what their closest rivals have is it any wonder that they are able to build a recruiting advantage?

Interesting. I was rereading my post and thought I had made an error in the the last sentence that I had typed as I appeared to have left out a word between closest and have "...1000x better than their closest _____ have is it......"

Apparently the word r-i-v-a-l-s is a dirty word, even when used in an appropriate context. Anyway, just thought it was funny.
