Eagles will wear black jerseys tonight and thru the early part of the season when they don't wear white. New green jerseys not ready yet.

And by "new green," I don't mean kelly green. I mean new Nike jerseys. Team says midnight green a custom color and will take time. Alrighty.

I kinda like the black jerseys on the Eags but abhor the putrid green color and the Eagle logo. When I first turn on the TV, I'm not sure if I'm watching the Eags or the Seahawks. That old Kelly green uniform was so much better along with the old wrap-around eagle logo on the helmet.
Oh we'll--a geezer waxes nostalgic...

That being said, the new SU unis are slowly growing on me. Might as we'll be patient and wait for the new issues.

Jeff Lurie, Eagles owner, wants to bring back the Kelly green. Not sure about uniform design, logos etc.

He was told by the NFL that changing the color of the helmets had to be tested and approved by the league since all helmet changes are considered player safety issues.
