Here is the first part of my breakdown. I still gotta do FB matchups for TV, BB matchups for TV, TV markets, potential for TV network. Most profitable football teams from 2013. Now some teams will move up next year like UCF, Missouri Texas A&M(thanks to Manziel) but they weren’t as profitable thru this year. 1. Texas-BK 2. Michigan-Kaiser 3. Alabama-Tex Bauer 4. Auburn-Tex Bauer 5. Georgia-BK 6. Florida-Tex Bauer 7. Notre Dame-Kaiser 8. LSU-Chris 9. Penn State-Chris 10. Arkansas-Kaiser 11. Oklahoma-BK 12. Ohio State-Chris 13. Nebraska-Chris 14. Washington-Tex Bauer 15. Tennessee-Kaiser 16. Oregon-Tex Bauer 17. Iowa-Chris 18. Michigan State-Chris 19. Wisconsin-Kaiser 20. South Carolina-BK 21. Boise State 70. Kansas-Kaiser 71. Cincinnati-BK 72. Missouri-BK 73. SMU 74. Air Force 75. Memphis 76. UConn 77. Central Florida-Tex Bauer Average BK 38.8 including 12 of the top 50(take out Mizzou the number drops to 36.5) Mizzou will rise next yr. Chris 27.5 including 14 of the top 50 Tex Bauer 33.4 including 11 including of the top 50(take out UCF the number drops to 30.4) UCF will rise next year Kaiser 37.0 including 11 of the top 50 Chris wins the most profitable football portion as he found value in teams like Iowa State, Texas Tech, Minnesota which don’t have big brands, but are profitable football teams. This is the largest criteria I listed, but we got basketball, markets, network potential as well. Tex Bauer is 2nd and 3rd/4th is real close. Basketball most profitable 1. Louisville-Tex Bauer 2. Syracuse-Kaiser 3. Duke-BK 4. North Carolina-Kaiser 5. Kentucky-BK 6. Arizona-BK 7. Michigan State-Chris 8. Ohio State-Chris 9. Texas-BK 10. Indiana-Kaiser 11. Wisconsin-Kaiser 12. Washington State 73. SMU 74. Stanford-Tex Bauer 75. Temple 76. UTEP 77. Nevada 78. Ohio 79. Air Force 80. Notre Dame-Kaiser 81. UAB 82. Central Florida-Tex Bauer 83. Rice 84. Wyoming 85. East Carolina 86. Western Kentucky 87. Utah State 88. New Mexico State 89. FIU 90. Marshall 91. Tulsa 92. Colorado State 93. Houston 94. Tulane 95. North Texas 96. Colorado-BK Averages- I am going to throw everyone’s worst ranking out for fairness no way Georgia Tech(65),Notre Dame(80). UCF(82), Colorado(96) should swing this. BK-34.2(38.1) including 5 of the top 25 Chris-28.4(30.7) including 6 of the top 25 Tex Bauer- 41.9(44.4) including 4 of the top 25 Kaiser- 31.1(34.1 including 8 of the top 25 Kaiser wins basketball regardless that Chris’s average is the lowest in fact BK is 2nd IMO. The top 4 brands are split between these Duke, Kentucky for BK, and North Carolina, Kansas for Kaiser. Chris again doesn’t draft clunkers and has a great conference, but I can’t call his conference the best basketball conference. Top 25 brands in college athletics(TV interest, national interest, merchandize sales) 1. Notre Dame-Kaiser 2. Texas-BK 3. Ohio State-Chris 4. Florida-Tex Bauer 5. Michigan-Kaiser 6. Alabama- Tex Bauer 7. Florida State- Chris 8. Oklahoma - BK 9. North Carolina- Kaiser 10. Michigan State- Chris 11. Pennsylvania State-Chris 12. Southern California- Tex Bauer 13. Kentucky-BK 24. Duke-BK 25. Oregon- Tex Bauer BK- 7 teams Chris- 6 teams Tex Bauer- 5 teams Kaiser- 7 teams Pretty even here.
