Another joke of a finish.

Ajak had a body on somebody.

You know who did absolutely nothing on that rebound and didn't put a body on anyone?

Buddy.

Watch the replay.

Yeah my first thought was it was Ajak's fault because the rebound was on his side, but they showed the replay, and he did have a body on someone (though if I recall he was totally moved out of the way by the dude) and Buddy didn't do a thing

Yeah, I'd have to watch it again, but like like he was boxing out two guys

I'll say this about Jimmy today...guy played his ass off and was giving it everything he had. Can't be upset with the effort from him today.
agree the effort was there but we need more from our up front players than he can ever provide skill wise

If you watch the replay you will see the guy that grabbed the rebound came from the opposite side of JBA. He was standing between Jimmy and Cole. Neither one put a body on him and he slipped to the other side of the lane and was all alone as JBA stayed on his guy and drifted in front of the rim.
People blaming JBA definitely need to watch that play again.
Yup, credit to the Miami player, he fought to get himself in great position.

But we didn't make it hard for him, at all. If we clogged the lane just a little, it might be enough.

I didn’t get to watch the game, but just so I’m clear, we’re blaming our 4th string center for the loss?

Okey dokey.
Nah.

Blame it on effort and lack of awareness from our starting backcourt.

Seriously, with baseball down the tubes, am I going to have to take up NASCAR or something? Maybe start playing D&D?

Can't wait for football.
That Gran Turismo 7 that just came out has me wondering if I could get into that stuff.
Never done online games in my life, but could see myself spend lots of hours virtual racing.
Sounds like a fun indoor winter activity.

The announcers were right early in the game. They said Syracuse was thin and that Miami would wear them down in the second half.

I don't know how you could watch the final 2 minutes of this game and not be upset with the loss.
I didn’t watch. Was listening on the radio. The team is down two key players and the remaining guys did the same they’ve done all season. It was expected.

If Buddy was paying any attention on the missed FTs he at the very least gets a hand on it. He didn’t even move

Missed second half but just saw we had a 7 pt lead with like 1:10 left. That is awful. That “slide rule” was put to the test this year.
At the beginning of the year, it seemed that despite the lack of athleticism and depth, we had experienced guys who could play smart, make free throws and close out games where we had the lead. Instead, we routinely fell apart, even in the games where we held on to win. The “slide rule” routinely failed this year.

The win probability chart is another classic
