That's entertainment. I think as the days go by, we will slowly slip from discussion. NIT anyone?

I go back to my post from before game 1 of the season. I am so happy Syracuse hoops is back. It has been a horrible year and team, while not vintage, helped get me through this thing. Hope we get in the big dance and I think the team deserves it. Hope they all come back, this is a great group and got better to watch as the season went on. Confident in the eight deep who have been playing and I think Frank Anselem showed enough early that most fans are excited to see his development. I cheer hard for all of them. Wish I had been as good as any one of them. Love watching "Cuse basketball. Love that we have a genius as a coach even if he is older than even me. Hope for continued success this year and build on that success for the next one.

Very few posts to come back with this gem. We may not make it. But it will be very close. Oh, and I hope we don't go to the NIT

You just knew it was going to come down to a guy making a shot at the buzzer who had not really been a factor all day. Kudos to Virginia as their defense picked up in the second half. We began to stop Huff and then their outside shooters took over. Two good coaching jobs in my opinion. Disappointing yes, but a good effort from the kids giving the defending National Champions all they could handle.

Monster nut kick, but I don't think this keeps us out, even I think we are in pretty good shape.
Although, Raoul may be a little too negative on our chances, when you are the last team in with many tourney games to go, I don't think we can say "pretty good shape" either. So we are somewhere in the middle. We have no idea how these other teams like Ole Miss, Boise St, Drake, Colorado St, Utah St, SH/StJ winner are going to do the rest of the weekend. As well as we played today up until Bras picked up his 3rd and the offense shut down, not sure if the committee even has a subjective component for something like the "eye test". We all know we are a tourney team talent wise, but it may just come down to the metrics. But I will say that any way you want to slice it we deserve to be ahead of Louisville in the pecking order.

Drake is already done until Sunday. They lost their conference championship game last week, and I don’t think they should be in above most of the bubble teams.

Anyone who wasn't expecting them to drain a last second 3 has been living under a rock.

We should be fine. Hopefully the same team shows up next week in Indy.

1h 13m and not a single OP like. God bless this board. NIT talk will not be tolerated

This OP is a lot more fun if you sing it to the tune of another one bites the dust.

You're hearing those opening chords now, aren't you?
