If that’s the case, Syracuse should make it a big event for the final home game on Thanksgiving weekend against an old Big East rival.

Would be awesome and would pack the dome on a tough weekend with family etc

I have trouble getting excited about any player. I'm assuming AD plays for another team next year.

He and Samuels could've gone to just about any school in the country as HS recruits. So they are the least of the worries.

Guys like Gill and Mack are the ones to watch.

Randall was gashing us pretty good all game but I saw him have to pick up Antoine on a blitz and he got blown up. Ended up being a false start too ha.

I don't think either will but I singled them out because Gill is from Texas and we were his only P5 offer. Same with Mack who is from Illinois. Both lightly recruited and both Dino recruits by the way.

But same as with anyone, money and the allure of playing closer to home for big programs. A young quality OT from Syracuse will get some offers. Just like Watson did. Gill as a Texan might look nice catching passes from Manning. Tennessee corners sort of bullied Gill so he has work to do but he's figuring it out.

yeah I get it, self protective mechanism many of us do these days. That said lets enjoy watching him this year, potential special player and I will add with him being from Canuck land theres a better than average chance he hangs here.

Less so about Gill, who will be WR #1 next year if he returns.
