which is more dangerous?

i think 100% of people would answer Brown's kick to the head/neck. Hunt got ejected. Brown got 15 yards.

I demand justice.

It is true, that for whatever reason, a "punch" is viewed as provocative even though it can't cause any damage to a player in football gear.

When I saw that kick to the face, I wasn't sure whether it would constitute a penalty - I had never seen it before.

i love seeing guys who try to hurdle get blown up. there was one kind of famous when where the hurdler fumbled but i can't find it

That might've started as a hurdle, but he clearly changed thought process mid-air and Mr. Miagi swan kicked Lanning in the face. I had a group of friends over the house and showed them the kick and everybody A) laughed hysterically, and B) had never seen anything like that before.

I would suspend him.

I did it once in practice back in the day to be funny. Tried to jump over one of our offensive linemen on a trap I think. Pretty sure I maybe made it to the middle of his back, then bounced off and fell backward.

Ran a lot of laps that day, but I'll be damned if it wasn't worth it.

but had he punched the kicker with a stiff arm , it would have been no call at all. and when you watch hunts replay from the endzone view you can even tell how it was more of a get off of me shove than a real punch with intent. had he hit hom anywhere than the head its a no call.

Seriously? Hunt clearly threw a punch, we need to get over it. The rules clearly state you can't throw a punch in football regardless of whether it will cause injury or not. What if the guys helmet came off in the play and hunt did that? It strictly states in the rules that a punch will get you ejected, its even like that in the NFL; zero tolerance. The brown play was just crazy, I watch football every weekend and I have never seen a play quiet like this. It wasn't premeditated, or intentional. The guy went to hurdle a defender like so many players have tried to do recently and realized it wasn't going to work and there was really no where for him to really go. And they did throw a flag on this play if I'm not mistaken. He got the 15 yard penalty.

A. i hope your "seriously?" wasn't in response to me - as the "i demand justice" was CLEARLY tongue in cheek (at least imo, i guess next time i'll have to explain it)
B. it may have started as a hurdle... it ended as an intentional kick to the head. Its also important to note that Terrel Hunts wasn't premeditated either. It was a reaction.
C. if you look at both penalties together (NOT the rules as they are written) Browns was considerably worse. It was actually dangerous. Again... not as the rules are written - but if you don't toss Brown out, there is no way you can't toss Hunt out.

It was directed to upperdeck who said it was more of a get off me then a punch. At least I think he was serious, not you.

Maybe in your next life - not in this one!
