My wife and I would like to stay at a nice bed and breakfast for our five year anniversary, particularly on a weekend when there's a game. The closer to Syracuse the better, maybe like within an hour?

We're from the Capital Region and don't know the area well outside of going to the Dome. Do any of you have any recommendations?

Cooperstown, Cazenovia, Skaneateles. Thats a pretty broad response, but I would just google B and B's around Syracuse.

You will probably get a lot of Air B and B's in your response, if you want to rent someone's house and make your own breakfast.

Hello first of all congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. I hope you for many many happy years. An interesting place could be Ophelia‘s garden Inn. It’s across the street from Burnet Park convenient to Colemans Blarney stones. There’s a new place that used to be the old Morgan’s it’s fancy Italian Yeah I live right by the place and it has a good feedback rating on TripAdvisor. Hope this helps.

Ophelia’s is a bed-and-breakfast set on 3.5 acres and it’s a 1925 home English inspired

Thanks I'll definitely pass this on to my wife, sounds like her style!

David - like you I’m from the Capital District and not local to Syracuse. I recommend that you consider the Brewster Inn in Cazenovia. It is right on the lake, with beautiful views, and has an excellent restaurant. It is only about a 30 minute drive to the Dome and the drive is through some nice country. Good luck!
