to avoid a conflict with the 3:30 FSU start?

Or are there too many moving parts to make a change only 7 days out?

Its a shame, but i'd be surprised if they changed it.

Have to think, since it's on the ACC Regional Sports Network (as opposed to just ESPN3), that changing it now would be difficult at best. Time to exercise your LAST or PREV CH buttons.

YES has no reason to move the game now...

YES Network says the "CenterStage" interview with Jim Boeheim will air at 6:30 on 11/16, after the SU-Colgate game.

The shame will be the amount of people that still go to the Colgate game. I gave my tickets away last week

Why is that a shame? Go to the game, and dvr the football game! Furthermore, this is a game we will probably perform quite poorly. Although that's not the reason I choose bball. I have season tickets to bball. Why would I give that up? If we play well against FSU, hooray! I can watch it later.

I suspect football is your first love. Nothing wrong in that. But bball is my first love.

Nope. Love em both equally. One son is in the middle of a season where there are 4 games left, the other is playing game 2 of 86 against his little cousins down the street before the real season starts. It's a laughably easy decision in my household. But I definitely respect anyone's choice to go the hoops game

I love them both and haven't decided what to do. But one is in person, the other is on TV. That will be a strong factor.

It's a shame because it will hurt attendance at the BBall game. As a season ticket holder that hasn't missed a home game in both sports since 2010, there is no way am going to miss the BBall game - but I wish I could DVR the football game and not get updates --- better yet, they should show the Football game on the little TVs in section 211.

Not to be Debbie downer but the football game will be over by halftime

That whole game 2 of 163 is a pretty strong factor

Might be made a bit easier knowing the results of both games before they are played. It's not like Pitt in both hoops and football.

If people are 50/50 on this they need to look at the pluses and minuses. Of course, it's not really 50/50 since the hoop game should be a blowout in Cuse's favor but it is live and the football game is against the 2nd best team in the country and it's on TV.

Both games end around 6:30. Hopefully the dome will have some TV's available for football watching, but if they don't I think a good option is going to the game and if it is indeed a blowout and the football game looks good at halftime, just go down to Marshall Street to watch the end of the football game.

Or better yet, make friends quickly with someone who owns a private box at the dome and then you can have the best of both worlds.

Or go to Club 44. I am sure at least one tv there will have the FB game.

For me, the choice is easy... I will be on a plane en route to Maui. I will miss them both.

Fig. 1: CTO's executive personal transport. This from a recent mid-October landing (complete with early winter snowfall) at Hancock Int'l in SYR. Unclear which collegiate team mascot - or which fanbase's collective id - in the form of a rodent familiar is making a (futile) escape attempt on the run(a)way prior to aircraft refueling via consumption of same.

I had the honor of watching Cuse vs Notre Dame in January 2012 on a Jet Blue flight. We were undefeated and ranked number one and this was the first game without Melo and no one on the plane really knew what was going on and why he wasn't playing. Of course we missed the last five minutes of the game because we landed but at least we didn't have to suffer the pain of watching the first loss.

Unfortunately, Hawaiian AIrlines does not have Direct TV.

I blew off an anniversary dinner for the last 10 minutes of that game... Right as the waiter delivered our food he whispered that they just got the game to work in the lodge. I looked at the wife, she said "go". Got a to go box, and I was out.

Should have stayed and ate.
