For true blue chippers, our sign says VACANCY right now no matter whether we are winning or losing.I know that we have been telling some pretty good recruits that there is no room at the inn. Is this still the case or has a four game losing streak and the stink wafting out of the fine basement flipped the sign back to vacancy.
After attending the luncheon today I can't way to see what impact the Class of 2012 will have on this program.
There is no room left and all the 2012 commits are solid desipte the disappointing end to this season.
YES. Coach says he likes the lunches because he can open up and share more because, we honor his wishes and do not share what he says!!!!Anything in particular that you remember from the luncheon that you can share? I'd love to hear any key points that Coach made. I'm sure others would as well.
Coach. Do you play for him? Come on give me a break this bs about keeping it here is just another example of Doug being a ing control freak. Really guys do you think for one minute that anything he shares in an open forum like a lunch is double secret stuff?YES. Who cares? Since the obvious idiot Marrone recruited them, what difference does it make if they show up or not.
Cant wait to get some quality LB depth. Next year we need tons of WR's and RB's.
Not sure about "tons," but we desperately need playmakers at QB, WR, CB, and DL - those are the types of players and positions that are in highest demand everywhere, even in NFL draft. Until we land a few of those types, we will continue to struggle. As for RB, relatively "easier" to find and recruit, but we do need numbers there. OL? That should very much be Marrone's forte - finding and developing raw potential.
He has no problem staying healthy on the football field... It's the party's that get him!Im actually nervous at RB for next year. Methinks PTG will be our only explosive guy back there and he hasn't shown he can stay healthy.
Don't sleep on AAM...
That's why it's imperative that we add Morris and/or Perkins to this class, although Perkins looks better suited for LB, imo. I think if Morris signs, he gets carries from Day 1.Hard to believe we have so little depth at this position. So far we have McFarlane and Smallwood coming in to supplement the returnees. Who knows if they will be able to contribute right off the bat, though McFarlane certainly looks like he might be able to.

I have no idea. He said that NCAA rules prevent him from talking about specific recruits but he continues to insist the class of 2012 is full and the losing streak has not hurt recruiting.Go, in your opinion, why are the recruits who are on board not known to the public?
