Any Way We Could Be #1 On Monday?

We need more first place vote for a palace coup:

63-2 and 31-1. The rest of the country doesn't see us as neck and neck with the Wildcats.
Zona has more, better wins. PAC-12 is actually pretty deep this year, 11 of the 12 teams are in the top 112 in RPI, with 9 of the 12 in the top 100 and 7 of the 12 in the top 53.

Zona could still easily drop a game at somepoint in that conference IMO.

It's like Herman Edwards said, "You play to win the game!" All the rest is academic. Consider, even if both teams were un-ranked, we'd all still be stoked for this. And for good reason, because it's what we do.

That being said, has it occurred to anyone else that Duke knows, right down to the trainer's assistant, how much of a boost it would be for them to beat Syracuse, undefeated, no. 2, on the road? Especially after beating Pitt on the road?

Strap it on, lads, Duke will be ready. Don't kid yourselves.

Damn. Sorry I asked. Don't get your panties in a bunch...
Can you not understand why so many are reacting this way? The question seems to be raised every week, and every week the same response is given. It's the same as a 6 year old incessantly repeating "are we there yet" on a 15 hour road trip. We'll get there, WHEN WE GET THERE!

Bump...I'd like to take this opportunity to say...

I thought it wasn't a big deal to be ranked #1??

In other news, the original post you made in this thread was ranked #1 and now it's been surpassed by your new post.

Cal lost at home to AZ State last night. Zero chance they beat Arizona
