Anyone else at the blarney rock this night?

I remember ESPN for like a month after that:

plays clip
ESPN Commentator: "This is just awful. A disgrace to the sport. It is horrifying to watch.
...
let's see it again."

... and again, and again, and again, ...

Yes, I was at the Blarney and saw what happened on the TVs.

oh yeah. raoul duke and maxfisher were there as well.

Thats right. I forgot about those 2. I remember hanging out towards the back all watching that unfold. Crazy night.

Not at the Blarney, but our team was playing in an early-season tournament in Connecticut that night. Three of the teams were staying in the same (small) hotel, and the place was buzzing until the early-morning hours as different players got back and turned on TVs in their rooms. Memorable.

I was there. But in between SU game and closing, I was at the Penthouse club for a few hours.

Syracuse had beaten Memphis in a coaches vs. cancer game and a couple of friends (and board guys) and myself went to celebrate post game at the Blarney rock. We walked in and were hit with this debacle all over the TV. Curious if other were there as well. If I remember Kaiser and Stevensen were there as well.

Great read, Marsh. Thanks for sharing. Some miscellanous thoughts...

-I love the fact that Rasheed Wallace was the voice of reason in all of this.
-Derrick Coleman was still in the NBA at that point??
-Tim Donaghy of all people was reffing the game.
-Stephen Jackson is completely insane.
