I also had Marquette, along with UNC, Kentucky, and Syracuse. Yes, I left Syracuse in there, because there was a time when we were without Fab and plenty of folks on here said we'd find a way to win. I was critical of people being overly optimistic all season due to our (relatively) soft schedule this year, but now I am reversing field because I have a feeling with all this team has been through that something magical is going to happen in this tournament. I guess we will have to wait and see. Enjoy this tournament my friends, each Syracuse win will be sweeter from all the team and it's fans have been through this season. I could be wrong about Marquette, but I like their path, maybe more so than ours.
Regarding Syraucse, I feel the same way. A week ago they were like Amazon in early 2000 - wildly overvalued and primed for a tumble. Today we're like Bank of America early this year - coming off a rough patch and ready to move in a positive direction. We're less talented than we were 72 hours ago, but I'm optimistic that we're more motivated and ready to quit playing down to the level of our competition. In other words, a good buy.
Regarding Marquette, I do have them going far, but it also wouldn't shock me to see them upset after getting like 30 fouls called against them in a game. That rough style doesn't always fly in the tournament (which is why Pittsburgh hasn't been to a Final Four in over six decades).
