Not to pile on during a time of mourning, but … Since we joined the ACC, in the last half-dozen games for each of those 3 seasons, we have records of 2-4, 2-4 and 1-5. For a grand total of 5-13. No question that the league has certainly not done us any favors with the end-of-the-season schedules, but still … It would sure be nice to finish strongly for a change.

for anyone who's pissed if we miss the ncaa tournament.
if you can't defend and take care of business on your own block then you've got no business mixing it up downtown.
just sit on the porch and keep yer yaps shut.

Agreed. Frankly, I'm also disappointed with Miami's finish. It was bad enough having to watch the ACC have yet another year of UNC or Duke on top(remember how it wasnt going to be a 2 team league any more?), but having to face Pitt a 3rd time was just terrible. Pitt was playing terrible down the stretch except against us. It's like they could have won the national title if they played us every game, even though we gave a real title contender, UNC, a run for it's money in Chapel Hill recently.

Sure this team was lacking in areas, but there was more to this season than just purely a lack of talent. One of the more head scratching teams I can remember that seemed to have an on and off switch, as witnessed today.
