with his high tackle 'ole and whiff on the running back? Still scratching my head over that one.

I hate to say it, but it certainly looked like he wanted no part of tackling a tight end with a head of steam. THAT is a bit disconcerting.

Yeah, it sure looked like he wanted absolutely no part of that confrontation...very concerning as well as embarrassing...

That was the proverbial "matador" defense. Ole!

Eskridge hasn't shied away from contact so that one was a real head scratcher. That, plus the dropped Reddish INT, slightly tempered my enthusiasm of the young DB's. But still think they are going to be really good in a few years.

A play or two before the Reddish drop I told my ten year old that BR was going to have a pick six. If he held on my son would be talking about it for weeks!

Which is on the mistake list, and should also be higher up than the ref blaming. He had an open field tackle, and tackled the invisible man running behind the guy with the ball. Then Spruill was there too, and also missed the chance to make the play.

Make that somewhat easy looking play (once you successfully made the proper read and proper positioning), and the RB Tebow TD pass never happens.

FWIW, I am I said, to no one there...that both Wales and West were going to catch TD passes right before their drops...go figure. ;)

No one would argue that our players have played like they have a brain in their head this year.

I posted the same exact question afterthe game. He literally made no effort to tackle the guy. The only possible answer I could come up with is that he was at a position where he thought he might horse collar him so he pulled off.
