I'm a cbb fan first, and as long as we weren't left behind like those mutts in Storrs, I'll gladly follow other conferences.
We're in a great position in the best conference in cbb, and we can afford to be magnanimous. :noidea:

1. Strange watching this and realizing that isn't our conference. Of course it isn't really the Big East.

2. They keep saying the BE is the best conference in the country. The American has more ranked football teams than the BE has ranked basketball teams. The Ivy League has the same number of ranked teams as they do. I realize Fox overpaid for a glorified mid major, but its insane that they can make that claim with a straight face.

It means the Big East, on average, out-recruiting everybody right now. Not a sign of a mid-major conference. You want to see the new mid-major, take a look at the new AAC.
