Anyone have a clue what this hotel 70 miles away is all about?

I think this is the issue. If you Google Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, etc. I think the closest you get is somewhere near Lansing. That is also where the team charter landed earlier on Friday.

Lansing is a little over an hour's drive from Mt. Pleasant.

We left Grand Rapids at 620 and this drive to CMU makes Syracuse look like NYC, Tokyo, or Dubai
