following the announcement regarding Melo? We are all hoping that they can rise to the occasion and overcome his loss, but has anyone heard anything about how they are reacting?

if he hasn't been going to class for months I imagine his teammates knew, the better question is why didn't anyone do anything about it

I assume he was going to class. Failure to go to class is easy to detect and remedy. Failure to actually do the work, study or care about the class work is a much harder problem to deal with.

What exactly can you do? I think it is illegal to handcuff him and drag him in against his wishes.
I do wonder if the all out attack on his dumb jumpshot in the BE tourney was a result of them knowing how self centered he was.

that jumpshot was a microcosm of a larger issue we all are becoming way too familiar with right now...selfishness
