Look (despite what some think), i'd love Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and even Albany to all achieve a great renaissance.  I truly enjoyed my time in Syracuse and think the area has a lot to offer.  All were once great cities and they deserve an honest shot to reclaim some of the old glory.  I'd love SU to play in a state-of-the-art stadium, but its my opinion that this project will not come to fruition in the next 20 years.  Sorry if that offends some.

I do agree with the poster that said if Cuomo wants it done, it will get done.  Maybe CNY will have to rely upon a charge from those regional economics councils.  I just dont see Cuomo having an interest in this type of project.  He is not a fan of Miner (and vice versa).   DeFrancisco sits across the able.  I think Cuomo doesn't have much interest in anything nouth of Westchester/Rockland counties (except Nano technology which was really a Pataki/Bruno idea to begin with).
