Anyone of sane mind rooting for Yukon today

Actually, Hurley made an even bigger coaching mistake, but got lucky and got bailed out. 99% of coaches would have called for an immediate steal, but foul if that didn't happen. I'd be interested to see what he said about postgame. If even hints that it was something he drew up I'll be amazed.

I'll go with Neither. What I hope for is one of the following:
1) One team loses in the most painful manner imaginable to crush their fanbase.. some boner, last second heave,
2) If not 1), then one teams beat the crap out of the other by 30+ points.

Thankfully there is another game I am watching. If the game is close in the last 10, I might tune in.

Duke has the more likable coach by a distance, and in recent years they don't have the annoying players of the past (That being siad neither team has players for more than a few years anyway, so its not like you get that used to a teams players anyway - Duke or UConn).

But its Duke, and in my mind, there is still **** going on in the background to help them. So even with some "likeable" elements, bleep them. Not cheering for the other team either.

I said the same thing. If Boozer gets the pass through and the clock runs out everyone would have been asking why didn't UConn foul. I was yelling the same thing as it was happening. Just unbelievable luck for the puppies.

I didn't even know the final score until now - saw your reply to my post and figured was it close or a blowout. Watched the Habs game, then did some garbage and house cleaning.

I presumed Duke had won by 30, based on me knowing the half time score. I'll have to watch the final 5 minutes, and pretend Duke is playing someone other than that other team.

I hate both places, but I respect UConn more than Duke. UConn’s way of winning could be repeated other ways. Duke tries to take the easy way out. They are rapidly turning into Calipari Kentucky post 2012.

Likewise if Boozer holds the ball and gets fouled, or worse, gets tied up for a jump ball that gives UConn the ball and it ends in a similar way, everyone would be taking a screenshot pointing out how open his teammates were and killing him for not just passing it up to them.

are you kidding? My first thought was I was just glad that Duke wasn't Syracuse. We lived that in 1987! Once was enough. And in football in 1961 (and that game I had to listen to on the radio; not on regular TV).

Did the same thing. Can still remember shooting pool and watching that game my freshman year of college in the dorm lounge. Duke was evil and had an NBA team. UConn was Big East and the underdog.

I hate UConn with the intensity of a thousand suns. Duke hasn’t won a title in 11 years. They don’t bother me. UConn has already won two recent titles. I don’t want them to win yet ANOTHER title. That would be a disaster.
