Anyone of sane mind rooting for Yukon today

I hate both places, but I respect UConn more than Duke. UConn’s way of winning could be repeated other ways. Duke tries to take the easy way out. They are rapidly turning into Calipari Kentucky post 2012.

I hate UConn with the intensity of a thousand suns. Duke hasn’t won a title in 11 years. They don’t bother me. UConn has already won two back-to-back recent titles. I don’t want them to win yet ANOTHER title. That would be a disaster.

Is anyone saying they hate Duke more than UCONN over 30? Bc if you’re a real cuse fan and 30+, this isn’t the right answer

I’m 50+. Don’t “hate” either of them, but I don’t need Duke winning more NCs from having cheated the system for so long and now buying it out. And, as someone said upthread, I know more smug/conceited Duke alums than the one modest UConn alum. We aren’t competing with UConn (anymore). How long does it take to get over that?

You know what’s the saddest thing about this thread? Neither school gives a schl!tt if we hate them. We’re just another program of loser haters to them.

We so desperately need to be elite again. At least then our hate can be reciprocated.

Why? They’ve won one title since 2011. UConn has been the real problem. They’ve won four titles since then and two recent back to back. How could you ever root for them, especially considering they’re our historic rival. Who cares about Duke? They’re just a bunch of lame blue blood preppies.

Who cares if UConn wins another...we're well behind them and mostly likely will never catch up...so be it. They are not our peers and haven't been for a long time. Our current peers are wake forest, bc, the bonnies, hofstra, buffalo... it is what it is until it isn't. If we don't win it, I don't care who does--although I generally root for the underdog--which by the way was UConn today...

Still in Italy through the week. I woke up at 2 am randomly, checked my phone, and yelled “are you Fing kidding me” loud enough that I woke my wife up accidentally.

I will never watch the highlights of that game for as long as I live. I’m taking a vow like a Buddhist monk.
