Mason Rudolph escalated it by trying to remove his helmet. Myles Garrett finished it. Not the first time there's been a fight and won't be the last. Garrett will likely be suspended for the rest of the season and Rudolph will have learned a very hard lesson.

BTW did you see our Hamilton boys blow it?(first winning record chance in 24 years!). I was there. Another cluster, up 21-0, blow it in everyway possible from coach to kids losing 26-21 last minute type thing to 1-7 Bates, we were 4-4.

But at least the program is trending up was my take away though.

The NFL has indefinitely banned Browns DE Myles Garrett for hitting Steelers QB Mason Rudolph in the head with his helmet. Pittsburgh's Maurkice Pouncey (3 games) and Cleveland's Larry Ogunjobi (1 game) have also been suspended.

I still contend more than 4 and imo 8 is right. Doesn’t matter to me that he missed or whatever. It wasn’t a punch in a fight. It was a kick to someone lying defenseless on the ground. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

It’s fine for now. If he shows contrition he will likely be back in week 1. I suppose there is a pathway for it to bleed into next season but I don’t see it (although wouldn’t be shocked if they tacked on 4 more)
