Reading through all these posts sounds a lot like what’s happening with the basketball program, but Fran seems to be getting a pass. He loses his best player and the team totally tanks. Red has good players, but he does not have a stud who can take over a game. In football that player is usually the quarterback.  We saw last year with McCord and with Angelli this year, what that looks like.  We’ve also seen what it looks like when you don’t have a quarterback.  The bottom like is great players makes coaches and teams look good.
