AP Preseason top 25

Ohio State is 1st school to be unanimous pick in AP preseason football poll history.

My thoughts:

1. tOSU - Too much talent. Totally different class from B1G
2. TCU - Boykin for Heisman.
3. Michigan St - Oregon at home, and then it's tOSU, Michigan St, and then the rest of the B1G
4. Georgia - Loaded at RB as usual. Come out of the East.
5. USC - Overloaded with talent. Kessler will be Heisman finalist.

Overrated:

Bama - We'll see what happens to even great teams when they don't have an above average QB

Underrated:

Clemson - Wastson could be best player in CFB and will be Heisman finalist if he stays healthy. Loaded at WR per usual.
Arizona - Solomon will be even better as a Sophomore. Offense will always score, but now have 1 of the best defensive players in CFB.

Dark Horse:

Texas A&M: Allen showed improvements. Loaded w/ playmakers. Stockpiled elite defensive recruits, plus poached imo the best DC in CFB from LSU. Beat Bama, Auburn at home, then watch out.

Final 4:
tOSU vs Georgia
TCU vs USC

I got 1. Ohio State vs. 4. Clemson
2. TCU vs. 3. Auburn
I think the PAC-12 champ is going to have 2 losses because of how deep it is. Clemson at 12-1 sneaks in.

Clemson, huh, they do have a lot of talent, but I need to see it first, they usually find a way to pull a Clemson, and choke.

Clemsoning should be renamed Stanfording. Clemson hasn't choked in 4 years but those ESPN perception points become fact.
They got embarrassed against West Virginia but they haven't lost a bad game since. 1 ACC title 3 bowl wins in a row over LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma.

Looking at their schedule its pretty favorable, getting Notre Dame, and Fsu at home, but I still don't have a lot of faith in them.

I really like Clemson too. I think they win the ACC. The key will be keeping Watson healthy. Kid is an absolute stud, and has the potential to lead them to the playoffs. Ton of talent at the skill positions too.

If it's a 2 loss Pac 12 champ I think that may be the only way TCU gets in over them. The committee doesn't seem to like the Big 12.

You guys are all too rational.

Here's my irrational wish list for the Playoffs:

1. Clemson or GaTech get in from the ACC. (Of course I hope it's Syracuse. But this is my irrational wish list. Not my insane wish list.)
2. Arizona gets in from the Pac 12. (Wifey is a Wildcat.)
3. Any Big 12 team gets in. Don't care who.
4. Non P5 team goes unbeaten and gets in. Don't care who - unless it's ND.

The SEC and Big 10 champs both have at least 2 losses and get screwed.

I don't see any way a non power five team gets in over a two loss SEC team.

You are likely right. Unless it's a weird SEC champ - like Mizzou.

No way Tcu gets shafted again.

If they lose a game or aren't outright champion I agree with you. However I think TCU is going 12-0 this year and. 12-0 gets them in no matter what.
Big XII teams have the ND dilemma they need to be undefeated or win outright Big XII title and hope the other conferences don't have worthy teams.
