If you were his father you would deny everything as well. Can you imagine how this makes him LOOK to his family and friends? Not to mention the possibility that he helped facilitate the alleged second episode ... and what if he was aware his son had been molested?

The problem is that those are the simplest explanations. This other stuff, about Laurie and Davis, is just crazy talk. Do you really think Laurie would be comfortable with the release of that tape? It would smear her name for life and whatever money they have is going to be consumed by legal bills and possible civil suits.

The SOL has expired on the civil suits hasn't it?

There's nothing to apologize for. If they knew everything they should have waited to report it all. There is nothing admirable about reporting a hollow story and filling in the holes later.

The sooner they bring more attention to a scumbag pedophile -- if that's what he is -- the better.

Big difference in the fact that the grand jury was already in on Sandusky ... charges haven't even been levied against Fine yet .. there hadn't even been a recent investigation ...

Why are we taking this tape so seriously when we KNOW that Davis and Fine's wife were clearly having sexual relations? THIS CANNOT BE LOST IN THIS STORY. Are you guys serious right now? If you listen to the tape you can clearly hear Fine's wife was almost setting this whole thing up to coverup her's and Davis' sex scandal. Her and Davis having sex at that age IS RAPE is it not? So Bernie's wife was the one raping a boy... and THAT is the only thing that can be proven to date, because they both admitted to the sex. And now this 3rd accuser comes out who is HIMSELF a child molester who's own father absolutely denies all of his accusations and says he is lying 100%. Why is noone asking about the 3rd accuser and Bobby Davis having several phone conversations before the 3rd accuser went to the police with his accusations?????

Once again, the story was dead till 10 days ago. Until the 2nd accuser came out, this story was dead. It's not like they were working on it every day for 9 years. There was no story. It was just one kid with one allegation and nothing to back it up. His friends which he said would back up his story didn't back him up, everyone thought it was just some lady pretending to be Fine on the phone. The story was dead!

Disagree. If Bernie Fine did molest Davis, it doesn't change how slanted the story and report Schwarz initially ran were. Poor journalism regardless

Someone is saying ESPN had this tape in 2003.

ESPN said that on sportscenter today. So why did they sit on it for so long? Seems odd.

Even if it turns out Bernie is guilty, it doesn't change the fact that Schwarz initial reporting was done in a very poor and slanted way.
