I assumed Luke had been cleared for his extra year since he is still on the roster and now practicing with the team.

But according to Bailey's article today the NCAA has yet to rule?!?!

So here we have a student athlete not sure if he'll be able to continue on athletic scholarship in 6 months or if he should be making plans to move on with his life whether within or outside of football. Here we have a FBS football team beginning spring practice giving valuable reps to a player that may or may not be there in the fall depending on the inconsistent whims of the NCAA?

What could possibly be the hold up here? Either he meets the criteria to be granted a medical hardship waiver or not.

Time to start the revolution.
