According to one of the recent recruits post visit interviews it sounds like Luke had a pretty serious hip injury that will require surgery. Sounds like he may be out next year. Let's hope for the best

Didn't he already have a serious injury while he was at JUCO?

That's not good for next years depth. Doesn't mean he won't play next year though.

All depends on who we land in this class, we're still going after a couple of guys that may be physically ready for the 2 deep next year anyway.

Has anyone heard anything about James Washington? I loved his video as a high school pass rusher on the outside. He was moved inside and hasn't been seen in two years.

If he can't play next year, he's out of red shirt time (HS Class of 2010), unless he can get an extra year because of his pre-season concussion at Nevada as a frosh.

I think he has become more a casualty of our current style. During the Spring Game he looked pretty big, but just didn't have the speed of the other LBers. With the news staffs emphasis on speed it just doesn't translate to Washington's game.

He was supposed to be getting that year. He was going to have 3 years to play 3
