Are you actually rooting for ACC teams in this tourney?

I'm finding it kind of hard to root for ACC teams. I'll root for Miami (I actually went to school there for a few years), but other than that I am really having a hard time pulling for our future conference foes.

I'll be rooting for NCS. My sweeties family has season tickets. My cousin went to Miami and we used to watch their fb games in the old orange bowl where his family had season tickets. I guess that lots of SU supporters have ACC ties. The new ACC is really a Big East - ACC merger. Lets hope that the merger goes smoothly and that it lasts.

Ncaa units? Probably the only reason to root for conference mates... And you want to be the Most dominant conference...like SEC football

No. I can't stand conference homer fans. Especially if its people from my school sucking off a conference that once rejected us and we still aren't technically in. Will probably always root for a Catholic 7 team bar Gtown over any ACC team should they ever play just because I like most of them as programs. There isn't another ACC school I like (don't really hate any ACC teams particularly but none of them have soft spots like St Johns or Providence.)

Carolina a little only because fiance is a fangirl. Otherwise I'd like to see ACC teams go down in flames if for no other reason than they might appreciate the new blood next year when there will be a new sheriff in town.

I'll root for Miami because I like their game and I picked them to win it all. Then they'll all graduate and I'll have no problem ending that brief infatuation. 'Cuse to the ACC...woooo-eeeee!-VBOF

I guess I'm more pragmatic with conference mates. If they bring in more money, prestige and/or some other benefit for the Orange, I'm good with it. If it hurts the Orange, then I'm against them.

I don't think Syracuse will benefit from any ACC wins this year, so not really caring what they do as long as UNC, NCState and Duke lose.

The first half of the Albany game reminded me why I hate duke so much. Not a fan of ncstate either. Gottfried rubs me the wrong way. Won't be a fan of Pitt or Louisville either when they get in. Unc doesn't bother me so much.
Duke fans are the worst. I hate upstate New York Duke fans the most. 75 percent of them have no association to the school, yet all they do is talk trash. It is this reason specifically why I will end up hating duke more than Georgetown or uconn. The first time a white trash duke fan says something to me at the bar after a duke and SU game at the carrier dome, I will need to do everything I can not to beat that persons a$$.

I know this is a hard thing to swallow, but most Duke and Carolina fans are quite nice, friendly, knowledgeable people, as are the SU fans. I get that this is heresy. Burn me!

I've been rooting for Duke and Carolina since the mid-seventies. Ain't gonna stop now. I got a degree from UNC, my husband got 2 from Duke. They were my first loves. But Syracuse is my last and BEST love.

No, wait! Wisconsin was my first love. Duke and Carolina second loves.
