The only game since the bc game that I genuinely was a little angered over was the pitt game because of the embarrassment of losing at home to an 11 and 19 team. And that lasted a few hours.

The SMU game is something of an existential crisis for me.

I always want SU to win. Go Orange. I also expect that we're going to get big announcements and move on to the next chapter once we're out of the tournament. So it feels to me kind of like when the Bills play the Eagles. No matter the outcome I am both happy and sad.

I can't imagine I'm alone there and wanted to open a discussion on it.

Of course I'll be rooting for a win. Would love to see this team put a complete game together and advance and make a little noise this week. Nothing short of a Final Four run could save Red's job now, and that's obviously the longest of longshots.

No offense intended towards the OP but what the hell question is that? I mean I don't get how people could spend time on a board like this if they weren't a diehard cuse fan and if you're a diehard cuse fan, you always want to win. Pretty simple to me.

I clarified in here but yes of course I want to win. The post is admittedly sensationalism and the donniesyracuse comment rightfully and hilariously called me out for it, but the idea is I don’t hate the idea of a tourney loss nearly as much as usual as we’re already in an uncomfortable situation.
