Great hire.

But things are a lot different when you have to play in a conference where everyone can beat anyone and Oregon St is an elite 8 team and them and a very good UCLA team unlikely to get at large bids.

Gonzaga gets the best recruits and then has 2 months of exhibition games before the Dance which they will enter as a 1 seed most years from now on due to not losing much.

Look what happened to Mike Hopkins when things went south how bad it got.
