Arizona...

It is a wait and see thing. He is a hard worker but has never been at a school of Syracuse's level. Only St. Francis, Providence and Dayton. He got a kid or two at Dayton and with his NE background should be a good recruiter.

Not to pile on but it's an interesting comparison to GMac, who got handed the role he's in. Will be interesting to see if Griffin outperforms because he has more experience (especially at other schools).

He will. He is from Brooklyn and will be able to talk to NYC kids much more effectively. He also has a better personality in my opinion and being black does help. I know people don't like to say it but that is the truth. I was for going hard after someone like Much or Mannenga for an out of the box connection hire but if we are staying in the family I think this is about as good as we could get.

So, there is no evidence, just unfounded hope.
