Very disappointed but I guess it is unrealistic to expect the lack of vision that has plagued the football scheduling in recent years would be magically addressed by Dr Gross being moved out as the AD.

It would be great if the new AD has a lot of experience scheduling at the P5 level. Since Rob Edson was pushed out, we have been awful and the amateur hour efforts here have to end soon.

Absolutely.

IMO there should be opposite series with Army and UB for at least the next 10 years. One home, one away. It's essentially an additional home game and if they aren't 95% winning percentage that's on the program.

He's done better the last few years. Nothing major will change until there's a new AD in place.

Unfortunately, there are lots of games that need to be scheduled. Hopefully the new regime will be more proactive and have schedules filled 3+ years in advance.

At Army is a great road trip. Amazing environment.

I don't know if that's the answer, and I'd love to play them, but we should probably know that answer before blaming our guys for being asleep at the wheel. Given that it's a logical NYC opponent, seems odd that Gross wouldn't have been pursuing it.
