Nothing wrong at all at those comments. He isn't putting anyone down and is raising the expectations for he and his teammates. He is being a team leader and plus with the talk of the ACC scrapping divisions for a 3+5+5 model type of schedule Syracuse could conceivably play in an ACC title game within the next 4 years.

tell me more, could one division start next season?

Once the NCAA allows conferences to scrap divisions to host a conference title game then most conferences will likely go to a 3 annual opponents and rotate the other 5 opponents to play everyone more often but the NCAA hasn't passed this legislation yet even though they are likely to do so in the future.

I am fine with everything he said in that post game presser clip. Kid oozes confidence. And I as a fan love to see that in the players.

If he fails in the long run as our starting QB, I hope he never loses that leadership trait. Kid is destined to go far in life for sure.

I laughed, then pulled back wondering what kind of firestorm this will cause on the board. So, how do you see this comment?

If he keeps playing the way he played on Saturday, he can say whatever the hell he wants as far as I'm concerned.

Freshman mistakes aside (the killer pick after the fumble recovery), he brought more excitement and interest to the offensive side of the ball than I've seen since the second half of Nassib's senior year.

I think we've got an OC who can call plays and design offensive gameplans that can be successful, and a QB that is capable of executing them. And that alone is exciting.

I was at the game on Saturday and there was definitely a buzz in the second half when AJ and Ishmael were hooking up that, again, I haven't felt in a while. I hate to get ahead of myself but I'm really excited to see how the rest of this season plays out.

And Steve Ishmael is going to be our next great WR. I felt that going into training camp and I feel it even more strongly now. Kid is a player and makes plays.
