Whitehurst was kind of a pain. Always looking around and never content. Kinda wish the coaches would have put a deadline on his offer, perhaps they did. Just seems we could have moved on from him as early as November and found another prospect... Glanton, I guess didn't pan out either. Proximity to home being a huge factor that can't be dismissed... FIU got two backers we wanted badly. A little sad in my opinion...

Hey if they weren't sure about going to SU better to find out now vs when they are on campus for a year.

As much as I'd like another LB this one doesn't bother me as much. I was always surprised how many schools offered this kid. Sure he has good height and looks pretty good on film but unless he gains a lot of weight he won't see the field. Pretty big project. His body type doesn't look like the body that is going to put on at least 25 lbs and that is what he needs since he is now only about 190 lbs. Kid has tiny legs and isn't built like a LB. Even if he could put on weight we probably wouldn't see him hit the field for at least another 3 years.
