I will miss playing them next year. Thus far this has been the most entertaining week on our site this year. We hate them, they hate us. Games are competitve even though it is only recent history. Who are we going to have a week like this against next year?

As for next year i really want to beat miami bc and vt. It wont be the same at first but as we play them every year it'll get heated again.

I do not hate Rutgers as much as some. I didn't like Schiano and his recruiting tactics at all but he is gone. This game is by far and away the biggest "trash-talk" game we have. We are so close and have so many alums in NYC metro that RU fans get mad. Add to the fact that we market ourselves as NY's college team, they get so pissed.

To me three letters matter: A C C. They are not in. We are.

Next year, I can not wait to play VT. I hate them more than anything. Beamer.

Hey SyracuseAl, you need to meet RutgersAl. He is going to miss playing us. Rutgers is a great team to hate plus the are a close enough drive for a lot of Cuse fans, but we've moved past this. The only games we will be playing in the Garden State will be at the Meadowlands.

I despise Rutgers. Syracuse grad, moved to NJ...eventually got a job on staff at Rutgers, and then they ing laid me off. them.

I hope we put a huge hole in their BCS dreams and leave them holding the bag that is this C-USA clone in the making. Won't miss playing them at all.

I too despise Rutgers' sports teams. I am an SU undergrad, Rutgers grad and I've lived in NJ for the last 18 years. I love living here, but I can't stand the RU fans - and I know plenty of them. Most of them are obnoxious, delusional and wholly uneducated about college football.
