Didn't those guys say that all their staff are Cuse grads? For fluff I thought it was fine.

I could be combining two shows? but the lax stuff was cool and JB's quote on Jim Brown kicking butt in three varsity sports in one day was worth it.

Perhaps because each school is responsible for the programming content for the ACCNX. It's all Newhouse students covering the Olympic Sports and handling the production.

I thought it was a good show. I watch a lot of these. the Big10 fall tours and Pac 12 and they are all fluff. Its meant to showcase the team in good light. Real fans know the weaknesses. I think EJ Manuel did a good job. Ive been impressed with him for awhile.

I watched this morning. Thought it was well done. Dino declined to name which young players have caught his eye. Elmore said Simmons and Gadsden. EJ Manuel said 82 (Alford).

Agree on above about EJ Manuel. He's quite good.

As an aside, on the Packer & Durham show yesterday, the question was posed as to which team would have the biggest increase in wins this year. Packer chose FSU. Durham picked SU.

One thing to add. Something that stood out to me. When Dino was asked about Schmidt and the offensive line he talk about " the finish". Schmidt is emphasizing imposing their will snap after snap.

I believe that we finally have an OL coach on the staff which is going to make a huge difference. A couple of other things. I like this D. I have never been a fan of read and react. Let the kids play downhill and use their God given gifts. dont slow them down. Its something that im not a fan of on our O as we are esentially a read and react O. I like play calling with no more than 3 options. Keep it simple and let the kids play. Part of Tommys problem is that his decision making is slow. Give the kid a play and let him run it. Make the mental part secondary. Let him execute and use his gifts which are obviously not quick reads. Hopefully we go to more play calling and less read and react on O.
