At the state competition level, most states will have a 100m final where the winner goes 10.5 and the other 7 finish between 10.6 and 10.9. Sprint powerhouse states like California, Texas, and Florida routinely have finals filled with 10.2 to 10.5 guys with the occasional superstar going 10.0x. 2. 0.

Had an offer from Delaware St, so I guess assistant coach Devin Redd is the connection. Had been committed to Air Force so I guess his grades are good.

Didn’t we also offer a similar ‘24 with this type of speed who was basically a return specialist in HS? Name escapes me but he was thought to be offered as a PWO.

These are the type of recruits we need at the end of the cycle. Speed is what the best teams have a lot of.
This is what we haven't had a lot of since the 90's. Now you can put a lot of gamebreakers on the field.
You can also keep them fresh, and making plays becomes more important, because there will be guys on the 2nd and 3rd teams just waiting for a chance.

Definitely not a school known for producing P4 talent. At a minimum you have a return guy with elite speed here.

Similar profile to Trebor Pena as a high school recruit.

He’s hillarious. He’s literally so fast he’s jogging the last 10-15 yards on the long runs/pass plays.

Easy sleeper kid to root for.

don’t get me wrong, like this kids speed and upside, just surprised he was a take given our scholarship situation. Seems like a similar type player to Ja’Meer Thomas who is also in this class
