I'm at least reasonably optimistic that we could lose 4 starters for the season due to injury and still finish 11th or better.

Were really only losing 3 starters, and we replace them with two transfers that avg 30 ppg between them, and a stud freshman.

I mean from this year's roster. You could take away 4 or maybe even all 5 of the guys who start on day 1 and the backups could still achieve higher than 12th in the conference.

We would have been a lock to finish in the top 8 even if we didn't land White.

If you look at our history, I'm pretty sure last year was the lowest finish we have ever had in the Big East or ACC, so picking us 12th is like picking the bottom 1% of the standard deviation. All this writer did was show how stupid he was.
